Silica Gel contains a great amount of surface area.  White Silica Gel is non-toxic, it is also odorless, has no taste, non-corrosive and is a chemically slow substance. It is available in several mesh sizes and they are used for countless uses. Some things you can use silica gel for are, drying out a wet cellphone, keep photos or documents safe from moisture, it can also be used in cat litter. Silica gel has many other uses, it is ideal for absorbing large amounts of moisture.
